Upbeat Dance Center is a"Five years young" studio, located on the Main Line, that offers expert instruction in Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical/Contemporary, and B-Boying. Lauren Fine, the Director and head teacher, is a graduate of the University of Maryland's Dance program and a Dance Education Teachers Certification recipient from Towson State University. Fine has been teaching for 25 years and has direc

ted the Dance program for Henrico High School's Performing Arts Program. Her choreography is well acclaimed and has been seen at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. The goal of Upbeat Dance Center is to instill the love and passion for dance and performing through confidence, skill, and positivity. Students come to our studio to learn dance, not just to learn "a" dance. We truly believe in the power of our art and what it can do for the dancer and the audience.
