So much talent and so many shows! Congrats to Ryan Griffith who just recently wrapped his role with Beatlejuice the Musical with 3B Productions at the Maumee Indoor Theater in Maumee, Ohio.

Also many alumni and staff members of NHS are in Grand Rapids, Ohio’s production of Anastasia!

It’s a great time to check out the local talent and enjoy the show.

The Napoleon High School Drama Department was recently acknowledged and awarded many certificates through the Cultural Center of Henry County with sponsorship through the Ohio Arts Council. The productions acknowledgments included: Outstanding Production of a Musical for The Prince of Egypt, Outstanding Ensemble in a Musical “When You Believe” in The Prince of Egypt, Outstanding Choreography in a Musical in The Prince of Egypt, Outstanding Set Design in a Musical: The Prince of Egypt, Outstanding Lighting Design in a Musical: The Prince of Egypt, Outstanding Props in a Musical “Horses”: The Prince of Egypt, Outstanding Costuming in a Musical: The Prince of Egypt, Outstanding Hair and Makeup in a musical: The Prince of Egypt. A number of leads and secondaries also received awards for their performances. It was the most awards the NHS Drama Department has ever received for a production. We thank the CCHC and the Ohio Arts Council for their dedication to judging our performance and their commitment to excellence.

We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude for a remarkable year. The theatre season culminated in our annual Drama Department Awards and Thespian Induction Ceremony. Our appreciation is extended to students, parents, and families whose support contributed significantly to this year's success. We wish everyone a pleasant weekend as graduation commences and we look forward to the conclusion of the academic excellence of our students during final exams.

Congratulations to NHS Thespian and drama student Ryan Griffith on securing a lead role in Waterville Playshop’s summer production of BeetleJuice. The show will be performed at the Maumee Indoor Theatre this July. You may recall Ryan’s portrayal of Jethro in The Prince of Egypt. We are proud!
