WALT HYLA - ARTIST

Walt has a diverse background in the arts. He graduated from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and the New York Institute of Photography. In 1975, he visited Key West and stayed for 26 years. While there, his work shifted to reflect the tropical hues of the Caribbean. Walt has given work shops at the Broookfield Craft center in Connecticut, and his studio in Key West. Since moving to Naples, his work continues to be bright and colorful. Walt has exhibited up and down the East coast. He works with clay, copper, bronze, and wood. The goal of Views of Paradise Photography is to capture the pure essence of Paradise. To capture the beauty of Southwest Florida and the Florida keys. To give people something to take back home with them to hang in their home or office as a reminder of why they come back year after year to the same area to relax and escape reality of life back home. A piece of art which motivates them to make it through their work day until their next vacation.

Growing up in Naples, Sherri has always loved searching for shells and watching beautiful sunsets! While collecting through the years, she’s always wanted to find a way to display their beauty. She found her passion through creating art using her treasures found mostly on local beaches. She loves using resin to secure her items to the glass and it also depicts water, which adds a glossy finish to the art piece.
