The past couple of weeks at Baker Day School have been nonstop in the BEST way.

Between prom, graduation, celebrating our eighth graders moving up into high school, finals, and our end-of-year school trip, there has been so much to celebrate and reflect on. From big milestones to the smaller moments in between, it’s been incredible watching our students support one another, make memories, and finish the year so strongly.

A huge thank you to our teachers, staff, and parents for all of the time, care, and energy poured into making each of these moments so meaningful. None of it would be possible without the people behind the scenes helping our students grow, create, and succeed every day.

Congratulations to Lexii Clemons on receiving the 2026 Super Trooper Award. This award recognizes volunteers who are deeply dedicated to TNP and go above and beyond to support the organization across departments and roles. Since Lexii's first day of volunteering in July 2025, she has not slowed down. She has served backstage on lights, sound, dresser, and crew supporting TNP productions of Ada and The Engine, And Then There Were None, Little Women The Musical, Beau Jest, 9 to 5, Rent School Edition, and Much Ado About Nothing. She is always willing to jump in when we need a hand with a smile, calm presence, and an encouraging attitude. We are so grateful you found TNP!

Last week, we celebrated a milestone that will forever be part of The Baker Day School’s story: the graduation of our very first senior class.

As pioneers of a new chapter, these graduates helped shape the culture, traditions, and spirit of our school from the very beginning. Through every challenge, achievement, performance, and shared experience, they demonstrated what it means to be part of a community built on creativity, collaboration, and connection.

This moment also belongs to the faculty and staff who believed in the vision of this school from day one. Their dedication, mentorship, and unwavering support helped transform an idea into a thriving community. They have not only educated and guided these students, but have grown alongside them, celebrating every milestone and helping create an environment where students could discover their voices, pursue their passions, and build lasting relationships.

At The Baker Day School, we believe the arts have the power to bring people together, foster understanding, and create spaces where every voice can be heard. Through theater, our students learn not only how to tell stories, but how to listen to them, support one another, and build meaningful relationships that extend far beyond the stage.

To our inaugural graduating class: thank you for leaving your mark on this community and for helping establish the foundation upon which future generations will grow. Your courage, leadership, and willingness to embrace something new have inspired us all.

For our very first senior spotlight, we’re celebrating the incredible Malena Tucker! 🎓

Your hard work, dedication, kindness, and talent have made such an impact on our community, both on and off the stage/field. Watching your journey this season has been so special, and we are beyond proud of everything you’ve accomplished.
