Social Dance Nights at Masterpiece on Pine Ridge Road this Friday night the 8/21 — a relaxed beginner class at 5:15pm, then two full hours of open social dancing from 6pm to 8pm. Come on your own, come with friends, come with your other half. Everyone can dance!

$25 gets you the class and the social. $20 if you just want to dance.

I’m Henry Byalikov — I spent years dancing professionally on shows such as Dancing with the Stars, Broadway’s Burn the Floor. Honestly, nothing beats watching someone who swore they had two left feet find the rhythm about twenty minutes in.

Part 2: The secret to turning your International Latin Forward Walks 👣🌪️

Yesterday we looked at the massive difference & similarity between Rhythm and Latin. Today, we are diving deep into the International Latin Forward Walk Turning!

The biggest mistake dancers make here? Turning it into a side step or losing their connection to the ball of their foot during the rotation, which completely kills your balance.

Watch the breakdown to see how keeping the leg tracking tight (CBMP) and using the ball of the front foot & back heel drives the turn without sacrificing posture or poise.

What a weekend at Miami Vibe! 💃🕺

Being out on that floor with the Masterpiece Ballroom family is an honor.
I couldn’t have enjoyed our performance more or been prouder of Joann & her incredible performance in Rhythm—seeing that medal around your neck is a testament to all those hours in the studio!

Charlotte, you were absolutely radiant in Smooth; taking home a Championship win and runner up in Scholarship is an amazing feat for competing at this level in smooth.

Shout to JH and Kailey proud of your focus & motivation this weekend!—it’s was a joy to coach you both. Major congrats on all your wins
