Congratulations and thank you to my student Cathy. Cathy and I participated in the 2023 Poseidon Cruise and competition!
The cruise (Queen Victoria) left from south Hampton and had stops in Portugal, Barcelona, and Rome with a few extra days to roam Rome 🤣
On the cruise was a competition in American, international, club styles, and showcase! Cathy’s best results were in International standard all 1st places out of 4 couple final.
We also performed a Viennese waltz / Tango Waltz routine. The song had a lot of sentimental meaning to Cathy as well as the white gloves her mother had worn to for her wedding 🫶
The judges were Marcus and Karen Hilton, 9 times world champions whom we also had the privilege of taking private lessons and workshops with.
Other highlights included lots of social dancing to live music, amazing food, and lots of great memories.
Thank you Cathy for the amazing trip, opportunity and friendship! Proud of you!
