We’ll be live in 10 mins!!!

One of the things we love about a People Tree theme is that we never quite know where our storytellers will take it.

Thriller is proving that point.

Some stories make your heart race.

Some make you wonder what could possibly happen next.

And some make you laugh because apparently “thrilling” can look very different once you are safely telling the story from a stage.

Come hear all of them.

Thriller is this Thursday, October 15.

Doors open at 6 p.m.

Stories begin at 7 p.m.

is Jennifer.

What happens when the line between fear and excitement begins to blur?

Thrill-seeking may have been part of Jennifer’s life, but she discovered that panic doesn’t always come with the thrills.

Some adrenaline rushes are nothing like you expect.

This is Errol.

“The little girl needed help and I was there to provide it. She was confused and alone and dead.”

Some stories stay with you. Others make you question everything.

You’ll hear Errol’s story October 15.

Before a story reaches our stage, there is a lot of:

“Wait. Go back.”

“THAT'S the story.”

“And then what happened?”

And occasionally:

“You know this is supposed to be Thriller, right?”

Our storytellers have been writing, cutting, remembering and figuring out exactly where their story lives inside the theme.

October 15, we get to hear what they found.

This is Sarah.

What happens when protecting yourself from heartbreak also keeps you from experiencing the deepest joys of life?

Some secrets are buried deeper than others.
Hers comes to light October 15.

That is all we’re giving you.

Zach has a story for us.

We know how it begins.
We know how it ends.

And our job now is to keep very, very quiet until October 15.

All we’re giving you is this:

Summer Camp. 1987.

At the exact moment this photo was taken, these kids were just a few hours away from discovering that ghostbusting was, apparently, a camp activity.

Come hear Zach tell the whole story.

This is Ruchi.

And there’s a story behind this photo.

You’ll hear it on October 15.

All we’re going to tell you is this:

It’s about the thrill of falling in love... and what happens when you have to fight for it.

That’s all you’re getting from us.

For the rest, you’ll have to hear Ruchi tell it herself.

Meet Betsey...

On October 15, Betsey is stepping onto The People Tree stage for Thriller.

We could tell you what her story is about, but honestly, Betsey says it best:

“On their third outing, her date had something to tell her. She blamed the drinks… that is, until he brought it up again a week later.”

And now you’re probably wondering...

What did he tell her?

Come hear Betsey tell the full story next week at The People Tree.
