Some people are the spark.

From the moment we started dreaming up River Sounds, I knew Sladjana Saric had to be part of it. Her voice—rich, bold, unforgettable—carries more than just melody. It carries meaning.

Founder and director of , Sladjana didn’t hesitate when I floated the idea. [Ha🛶] “We’re doing something a little different…in a boat,” I said—and she was instantly in. 🤗

She came out last summer for a little test run… and started singing right there on the sidewalk. No stage. No mic. Just her voice and the river. People literally stopped in their tracks. It was incredible to watch—like the whole world paused.

That same magic happened again this past Tuesday. She sang from a boat on the river, and once again, the moment took over.

This is what River Sounds is all about.
