The Believe House in Naperville IL has released the 2025 Christmas Map. We can’t thank them enough for all of their hard work scouting houses year after year! It is fun to imagine the number of Christmas memories they have helped to create over the years.

THE MAP! The 2025 Naperville Christmas Lights Map is ready! Now featuring over 100 festive holiday homes in Naperville proper, some notable displays in neighboring towns and fun community events and holiday happenings! So much Christmas goodness! Enjoy. Click the LINK (not photo) below to access our annul map. It is a Google map. There is no official designated route as everyone starts from a different location. Many people use routing apps such as RoadWarrior, Spoke (Circuit) or RoadTripper to plan their night. All homes in Naperville proper have been personally scouted by moi; for you, and photographed. Homes in neighboring towns have at minimum been confirmed as a go with their respective owners. Click on the RED stars for READY! You'll also notice green and yellow stars as per usual. Check out this section because there are some really good new ones this year! Yellow stars mark free community Christmas events and places of interest. Green stars mark PAID events that require an advance ticket. All will include a web link in the pop up window for more info / to buy tickets. Purple stars are tribute displays.
Let's see how many people use the map this year. The all time counter today to start the season is at 4,213,222 views.

We’ve been a little quiet on our page, but there are some exciting things to share.

1.) Our lights are on, so stop on by 🙂
2.) The Believe House in Naperville IL published the map! It’s a great tool to see so many amazingly decorated homes. Plan your route and bring some cocoa!
3.) Santa's Sleigh Tour will be coming through our neighborhood on December 10th. We love this tradition. Bundle up, head outside, and wave as he drives by! Head to the tour page for the route, as well as dates and routes for other neighborhoods in Naperville.

Other than some standard Jack-o-Lanterns, we don’t do much decorating for Halloween, but we LOVE seeing all the houses that do! If you want to take yourself on a tour of Halloween houses, The Believe House in Naperville IL is at your service with a Halloween Map!

Every year, The Believe House in Naperville IL researches and puts together the lights map for all the highly decorated houses in Naperville. We are so grateful that they do! Our family uses it every year for our annual self-guided tour.

Here are tips for when you come to our display specifically:
-Tune to 87.9fm for the audio broadcast
-Don't block our neighbors' driveways. We know they seem like prime viewing spots, but they are not! Our neighbors are amazingly good sports, and we want to respect them.
-Sing along, have fun, and enjoy the show! It is 15 minutes long and loops all night long from 4:45-11:00pm.

Ever wonder where the best and brightest holiday lights are in and around Naperville? Follow the ginger bread men to dozens of beautifully decorated and festive homes! Thank you to everyone who decorates and sent suggestions. Follow us for updates! There were a few displays that were gone and some appeared as in progress, so we will be swinging back to those homes later in the season to check. Lights Viewing Tips:
Do: Plan Your Route in Advance
Do: Look out your window, and if it is raining or drizzling...plan for a different night.
(Even the most water tight displays do not like the rain)
Do: Feel free to go in your pajamas! It's fun!
Do: Drive with care through neighborhoods. Please watch for pedestrians.
Do: Plan to get out of the car if safe and you want to to take a closer peek.
Do: Be courteous of neighbors on the block and their property please.
Do: Watch for FM frequency signs, some displays include an audio broadcast.
Don't worry if it's snowing .....lights like snow!
Don't walk into the display or on the lawn! PLEASE.
(There are HAZARDS like cords and invisible wires, ouch!)
Don't Litter.
Don't go on the neighbors property.
Don't drive like a maniac.
Don't park with headlights shining in anyone's window.
Don't block any driveways.
Don't forget you camera.... and FLASH, a or high power FLASHLIGHT to use with your phone.
(If you want to be in the picture as more then a dark silhouette, you'll need to be illuminated by a very strong light)
