Crave Workshops Let’s make art together. We teach virtual creative experiences for corporate teams.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the opportunity to lead experiences in so many different ways: an in-person creative wellness session at the Wellbeing at Work Summit in Los Angeles, an in person mindful art experience for Ritual, a hybrid trust-building workshop for L’Oréal, and a global virtual watercolor meditations session for Houzz.

Different formats. Different goals. Different groups of people.

What they all had in common were incredible clients, meaningful conversations, and the opportunity to help people connect through creativity.

Building something of your own is deeply rewarding, but it can also be challenging. There are always questions, uncertainties, and moments when you wonder if you’re making the right decisions.

This was a reminder I needed to hear:

“Should I take a safe job or one that might make me happier but less safe?

There’s a Japanese concept called Ikigai. Ikigai is the intersection between what you love, what you’re good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for. It is the bliss and purpose and intention behind what you’re doing. It’s the reason you get out of bed. It is your purpose for being alive.

If you’re lucky enough to find something that sets your fu***ng heart on fire, then disregard everything we think we think. Get out of your head. Get out of your way. Go create the life that you want.

Because safety is an illusion. Happiness is a choice. And everybody’s going to die.

So go get ’em, tiger.”

A few concepts that almost made it into the final workshop. 🌈

When invited us to create a virtual Pride experience for team members around the world, we explored a lot of colorful possibilities. We ultimately went in a different direction, but I couldn’t resist imagining what it would look like to combine our signature fluid paint experience with a Waymo vehicle.

Honestly? This one is going on the bucket list.

Imagine teams gathering together to pour, swirl, and celebrate Pride by transforming a car into a one-of-a-kind rainbow masterpiece. 🚗✨

Waymo, or any company looking for a bold, hands-on way to celebrate Pride—I would absolutely love to bring this concept to life.

Because sometimes the best ideas start as a sketch, a conversation, or a “what if?”

What would your dream Pride activation look like?

L’Oréal approached Crave Workshops with a clear goal: strengthen trust and connection within their team.

Rather than another presentation or discussion-based team-building activity, they wanted an experience that would bring people together in a meaningful, memorable way—something participants could feel, not just talk about.

The Approach
To support this objective, we designed a two-hour creative wellness experience that blended hands-on art-making with guided reflection and team conversation.

Got back from Los Angeles and still processing what a full, expansive experience the Wellbeing at Work Summit was.

It wasn’t just one role—it was everything at once. Speaking, hosting a hands-on art workshop, and holding a table where I could connect with leaders and teams thinking deeply about wellbeing. It stretched me in the best way.

What stayed with me most wasn’t just being on stage—it was the conversations. The other speakers, the organizations, the people showing up with real curiosity about how we actually support humans at work.

I went in wanting to bring something different, something tactile, experiential, and left feeling even more certain: the future of wellbeing isn’t just talked about, it’s felt.

Grateful for my incredible assistant, for everyone I met, and for what this is opening up. More to come.

Last night, in the final hours before the deadline, I submitted my application for the OSV Fellowship by

Thank you for sharing this grant with us every step of the way.

One of the questions on the submission asked:
“What do you find most beautiful in the world?”
It took time to decide on the answer.

Yes—I love sunsets, beautiful places, bright colors, art, and dogs.
But what I find most beautiful is this:
The idea that small steps in the right direction can create real change.
That one person can choose to care.
That one action can ripple outward.
That while you may not change the whole world…
you can change the world for one dog.

That belief is what inspired me to start Portraits with Purpose in January.

What began as a small side project has quickly become something much bigger: an intersection of so many things I care deeply about.

Art. Technology. Storytelling. Dogs. Community. Creative problem-solving.

One big part of this project has been exploring how AI can be used as a tool for good— not to replace creativity, but to help create deeply personal, one-of-a-kind portraits that highlight each animal’s unique personality and spirit.

And for me, the vision goes far beyond the portrait itself.
I don’t want these dogs seen only on a shelter website.
I want them in the world.

On banners.
On postcards.
In coloring books.
On mugs.
In public art installations.
In community spaces where people stop, notice, and connect.

This is why funding matters—
to help transform these portraits into campaigns, activations, and public-facing storytelling that gives shelter animals the visibility they deserve.

I’ve already begun building it: sponsorship support from Moo.com, art hanging in Napa studios, local press and bigger ideas taking shape every day.

In a perfect world, I’d love to build tools that make this model scalable
so shelters everywhere could use creative portraiture and storytelling to help their animals get seen.

This is just the beginning.

And if you believe in this vision— whether as a collaborator, sponsor, partner, or supporter— I’d love to connect.
