70 years of stories, artists, audiences, and a whole lot of theatre. 🎭❤️
This season, we’ve had the incredible joy of celebrating 70 years of Theatre Workshop of Nantucket, looking back at where it all began, how far we’ve come, and the generations of people who have made TWN what it is today.

From our earliest days to the hundreds of productions that followed, TWN has grown because generations of artists, audiences, producers, supporters, and friends believed in the magic of gathering together to tell stories. Seventy years later, we are so proud to still call Nantucket home and to be the island’s only theatre dedicated entirely to producing professional theatre. 🌊🎭
As our Artistic Director Justin Cerne shared with N Magazine:
“For some people, we’re their introduction to theater; for others, we’re the only theater they’ll ever experience.”
That’s a pretty special thing to have been doing for 70 years. ❤️
To everyone who has taken a seat in our audience, stepped onto our stage, worked behind the scenes, produced a show, generously supported our work, or cheered us on along the way, thank you for being part of our story.
