David Hostetler’s sculpture “Ritual” has found a new home at the Nantucket Cottage Hospital. This sculpture was purchased to honor the Hospital’s former President Dr. Margot Hartmann.

David always insisted that he needed to make sculpture groupings before we could become a married couple, so pieces like this always make me think of us.

There is a sense of ritual in this sculpture... lots of stories can be told and shared.

I am honored to have it in the Owsley Brown II Family Foundation Birthplace Waiting Area to enhance the experience for all who spend time here!

We love watching new people add timeless Hostetler Sculptures to their home!

Chad and Lynne have been long time admirers of Hostetler’s “Homage to Woman” that resides outside the Wauw**et Inn on Nantucket.

Lynne purchased Homage Maquette for Chad as a birthday gift this year.

Homage Maquette was the first sculpture in the Homage Series. David carved it in Persimmon wood and it stands at 5’3”. Susan cast this size in bronze.
The final Homage is the 7’4” bronze that grace’s the lawn of the Wauw**et Inn and was purchased in 1989.
