We are so excited to welcome Flynn Ericson as one of our guest choreographers this season! She will be contributing to our Vivaldi Four Seasons piece! Flynn, originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico, is a professional dancer with Ballet Idaho. She has had the pleasure of being featured in works by Alejandro Cerrudo, Justin Peck, George Balanchine, Terence Marling, Barack Marshall, Anne Mueller and Garrett Anderson. Flynn has collaborated with Amy Novak on two choreographic premieres, SUPERCUT for Ballet Spartanburg in 2024 and Facet by Facet for the Ballet Idaho Trainee Program in 2025. She had her solo choreographic debut in 2026 with her work Undercurrents, premiered by Ballet Idaho’s Youth Company. The ensemble dancers are so excited to learn from her!

This season it is a great honor to welcome Miss Cydney as a guest choreographer! She will be creating an original work for our Vivaldi Four Seasons piece. Cydney is a professional dancer with Ballet Idaho, LED, and Project Flux. She has been featured in works by George Balanchine, Justin Peck, Johan Inger, and Joseph Hernandez, among many others. She has choreographed two works on Ballet Idaho, created a piece in 2025 for Project Flux’s inagural showing from their “Perspectives” platform, and recently was commissioned to create a work with Elijah Jensen-Lindsey as part of his show at the Dixon. Congratulations to our second scholarship award recipient! McKenna Palmer made her debut with Gem State Ballet as a Sleeping Beauty fairy last season. She has also participated in our competition and received scholarship awards from local professional companies. We are so honored to give back and support talented artists to help facilitate their continued growth and experience. Keep an eye out for McKenna along with all of our lovely dancers this season! Did you know every season we bring guest choreographers in to work with the ensemble? This gives Treasure Valley dancers the unique opportunity to work with professions outside of their normal circle helping them to gain valuable experience. Keep an eye on the website in July!
