Even after 2 years of resin casting I am always looking to innovate and improve things. Believe me, the better casting I can produce the easier it is on me! Molds are finicky and too much pressure put on the mold means terrible misalignments which means it’s thrown away. Well, here is my new idea in the trial phase. 🤪 I’m hoping by placing the molds in this “locking” cut out I will be able to not strap these huge, heavy molds I have so tight to the Mannetron. This should help with centering, eliminate slipping problems and the straps can be looser but still hold everything where it needs to be. Not all things work the same for every castor and you cannot google anything about improving casting model horses. You have to be able to “mold” and shape things to what works for your casting needs. Resin casting is a work of art and a work of heart! Here’s to bettering the future! 🥂

Man…I need more space! It’s all bursting at the seams! This will all ship this week. I know I don’t post much but I work hard to get castings out the door. I’m a one woman show and have been all year so social media gets the back burner.
