Today I had the pleasure of helping “fix” a botched piercing.

This young lady came in with an anti-eyebrow that had been done elsewhere using very low-quality, externally threaded jewelry that had no business being used for this type of piercing. She was told this jewelry was a better option and that a curved barbell (eyebrow bar) would be a bad idea.

Nope. Both are not proper! Let me show you why!

I’m posting a comparison of the jewelry I removed versus what should have been used, along with a diagram showing why this kind of jewelry is a terrible choice for a surface piercing.

If you ever see a piercer reaching for jewelry like this for your surface piercing… RUN. Fast and far. Then come book with me. 😁✨

I can’t even explain how frustrating it is to see this kind of stuff and have to fix it after the fact. This poor girl deserved better.

Good RAINY morning!

Soooo. Bad news. I gave in and set an appointment via myself for my 11 o'clock today and guess what? They no showed me! That is changing how I book! ONLINE ONLY. I can book manually DAY of appointment OR for super established clients that I know wouldn't do that. Sorry y'all!

It was for a philtrum piercing (Medusa!) that I'm sure would have looked fabulous. Bummer!

✨✨SO GOOD NEWS.✨✨ It is my NINE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of piercing people! So woohoo, happy day to me! Thankful for this today!

I let the universe pick this one… and it did NOT disappoint 🎥✨

I pulled three piercings at random in the video I’m posting with this, and somehow they came out bold, balanced, and just a little spicy. So here’s what you’re working with for the rest of April:

• Daith Piercings — $80 for BOTH ears
• Medusa Piercing — $50
• Septum Piercing — $45 (with a horseshoe)

All piercings include basic titanium jewelry — because your body deserves the good stuff, always.
