🚨 NAHANT LIFE SAVING STATION
PARKING LOT CLOSURES 🚨

The parking lot will be closed for scheduled events during the following times:

* Saturday, August 8: 4:00–10:00 PM
* Sunday, August 9: 12:00–5:00 PM
* Wednesday, August 12: 11:00 AM–5:00 PM
* Thursday, August 13: 5:00–10:00 PM

Please plan your pickup and drop-off locations before each closure begins.

A convenient and safer drop-off location is at the intersection of Castle Road and Ward Road. Although it requires a few extra steps, passengers can be dropped off safely near the corner and then take the short walk along the sidewalk, cross Nahant Road at the marked crosswalk, and continue along the paved path to Short Beach.

Drivers approaching the marked crosswalk expect pedestrians and are more likely to slow down. This is much safer than stopping or parking improperly along Nahant Road, where drivers may not anticipate people entering or exiting vehicles.

Remember: When the EVENT signs are displayed at the entrance, the parking lot is closed—even if there is no Facebook post that day. The signs are always the final authority.

🚨 Notice for Today at the Nahant Life-Saving Station 🚨

Please be advised that a special event will be taking place today from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

There will be NO vehicle pick-up or drop-off in the Life-Saving Station parking lot during these hours. Please do not enter the lot for passenger loading or unloading while event traffic controls are in place.

When you see the posted signs, please follow them. A Nahant Police officer will be on site to assist with traffic and ensure everyone’s safety.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. Thank you for helping make today’s event a success!

Happy Fourth of July!

The Nahant Life Saving Station parking lot is available for pick up and drop off until 3 PM after which there’s a private function. When the event sign is out, please do not enter the parking lot. Thank you for your cooperation.

🚗 Parking Lot Closure Notice – Friday Afternoon & Evening 🚗

Please note that the Nahant Life Saving Station parking lot will be closed for all pick-ups and drop-offs this afternoon and evening due to today’s special events.

We’re also happy to share that Joanne Bryanos will be on hand selling tickets for Sunday’s Porches & Gardens Tour hosted by the Nahant Garden Club.

🇺🇸 This evening, the Nahant Veterans Social will also be taking place at the Life Saving Station. If you are a veteran or a family member of a veteran, you are warmly invited to join us for an evening of fellowship and community.

Please help us keep everyone safe by making alternate drop-off and pick-up arrangements and avoiding the parking lot during these events.
