There’s always the one that got away, and for me it’s this vase 😍 I wanted to keep it so bad but ended up selling it, and I’m still thinking about it a year later. The Sunset Carved Wave process is so intense and time consuming, but maybe I’ll get the chance to make myself one soon!!

Just a friendly reminder the shop is still open TWF 11-4! Mom and Kayla are holding it down over there! And Megan will be at Dowdy Park Farmers Market for us all summer! The markets are every Thursday starting June 11 from 9-1 ☀️ I worked my b***y off to make enough pottery to keep the shop & dowdy stocked through my maternity leave this summer 😎

Remember that one time I decided I wanted to make my own backsplash tiles??? It hasn’t happened, yet. But I still really want to do it one day!! Willie and I couldn’t pick a favorite color so we ended up just painting the kitchen, especially once we priced out new countertops 😅

At this point I am just waiting around for baby girl to make her arrival 🤪 I’m thinking about going to the studio to make a wall hanging for the nursery, but deep down I know it won’t get finished for a very long time 😂 We’ll see what happens, but in the meantime this carving video is so satisfying 🤤

Y’all I just didn’t have it in me to do a whole regular style Web Restock this month! We went ahead and added a bunch of new work to the website and it’s all ready & waiting for you!

This will be the last “restock” until I get back from maternity leave later this year! We (aka Momma Swell) will do our best to keep the website stocked for you over the summer. There are some things I wouldn’t wait on, like the new Travel Tumblers!

Kayla, our new studio assistant🎉, will be holding down the fort at our physical shop in Nags Head! We will remain open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11-4. Megan, our amazing assistant over the last 5+ years, will be set up at the Dowdy Park Farmers Market every Thursday from 9-1 June 11th through August 20th! Thank you for your support now more than ever!🥰 if you have any questions, ask away!

I’m so glad glazing is faster than making pieces is 😂 I’ve been throwing as much as possible since January, but I hit 9 months pregnant on Tuesday 🎉 So now it’s time to get everything finished that still needs to be glazed & fired! The bump is bumpin lolol. At this point (okay, for a while now) my amazing mom has been loading and unloading all the kilns for me. We’ll see how many kiln loads it takes to fire all these pieces! Any guesses? There’s about twice as much as in this video 😅💪🏼
