Salt Air Ceramics Allison Dorbad, Artist. Small batch, hand-built, sea-inspired pottery on North Carolina's Outer Banks

This baby slumped a little in the kiln but the beaded details all stayed. Lately I have been experimenting with new shapes and finding different ways to display & hold flowers.

Next up ➡️ a vase that is also a fountain.

I have been practicing surface decoration and working on some anatomical heart illustrations in underglaze… my favorite yoga teacher said something yesterday that in a flash 💥 inspired a whole series of work that I am excited to pursue next!!
