Help us protect summer for Texas families. ☀️
We strongly support Texas schools and recognize the importance of providing students with a quality education. We also believe a consistent, later school start date can support education while preserving valuable summer time for families.
Starting school earlier does not automatically mean more instructional time. Earlier August start dates can limit opportunities for family travel, summer jobs and the local businesses that depend on summer visitors.
Contact your Texas legislators and ask them to support a consistent school calendar that works for Texas schools, students, families and communities.
