View my wares in Lufkin this Saturday at Fae’s Hideaway, a ren faire pride celebration hosted by – where all the medieval baddies gather. 2 to 9 p.m., free entry for all! Meanwhile, I’ll be working on my outfit.

Cutting a block of reclaimed clay before it’s wedged is so trippy. This is a mixture of several different clays, with the darkest parts most likely being terracotta, the reddest parts Red Star, and any other clay bodies the studio has used.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by at The Big One today! It’s always a pleasure to participate in markets in my hometown area. And shout out to my mom who makes a great market assistant. Unpacking and loading up would be very difficult without her help. 🫶

Did some glazing tonight to prep for The Big One in Mabank this weekend. After doing the design I dip glazed them in clear and other glazes. I want to get better at these types of designs. I looked at a reference image and drew in pencil first, then went over in underglaze.

Snake is Amaco Velvet Underglaze in Jet Black.
