We have been incredibly lucky to dance with straw garlands, woven by wheat weaver and late teammate, Lindy McArthur. Unfortunately wear and tear damaged a few, but we have been even more lucky to have found Linda Beiler who has done lovely repair work on half of our garlands. We found Linda by contacting Heritage Crafts, who got us in touch with Straw Craftsmen, who got us in touch with National Association of Wheat Weavers, who finally connected us with her. She made a speedy assessment of the situation and with just some scissors, a cake tester and her nimble fingers has gotten them in dancing shape again!
