We open our gates for our first weekend of the Mythical & Medieval Fest 2026 on November 7th & 8th. VIP tickets and mead tasting tickets are available now and normally sell out before festival opens. Our stages and main field are full for entertainment, and we can't wait to open our gates to welcome you.

Tickets are now available for purchase for our 13th season of the Mythical & Medieval Fest. We have added a couple different options. We have our regular admission tickets but added a four day pass as well. Limited VIP passes and mead tasting tickets, these sell out every year before gates open. New this year is our trading card quest. Once you choose a day you will see the ticket options for that day with descriptions for each one.

Huzzah! The village of Shadow Bay will be open for two weekends this year. Visit with fairies, knights, wenches, Pirates and so much more. Blacksmith demonstrations and jousting are just a couple of things that will keep you entertained at our medieval festival.

Witness the thunder of hooves as brave knight clash in thrilling jousting tournaments, watch blacksmiths forge steel before your eyes, be enchanted in our enchanted encampment, let the sounds of live music echo through the village. This November, the kingdom awaits you!

We can't wait to greet you in November!
Did you know that our festival is 100% volunteer planned and staffed? Even with all of our experience, planning, and preparation it's inevitable that something will go wrong the weekend of our event. If you see something, please let a volunteer know but remember to be kind! We're all working hard to give you the best day possible!
With that said, here are a few friendly reminders:
- Please carpool when possible and be patient as we pack literally 10 times the normal traffic in this small area.
- Beer and Mead is sold in the tavern. Coolers are not permitted on the festival grounds. Please also make sure you bring your ID!
- No pets. We are sorry but we have had to many bad experiences with dogs peeing on vendors merchandise, people not cleaning up after their pets etc. So please be respectful to our vendors and performers and leave your fur babies at home.
- This is a family event (even with the beer and mead). Anyone being rude or disruptive will be escorted from the grounds. We reserve the right to remove anyone for poor behavior or bad dancing. Though we usually let the latter slide.
- Our artisans are awesome! They pay a small fee for their space and keep 100% of their sales so make sure you support them.
- Cash only at the gate. Gate opens at 11am and remains open until 6pm.
- Incase muddy grounds or parking getting full we are offering a free shuttle from the Socastee High School that has paved parking. Shuttle will start running from 1pm until needed.
-We have many performers that may pass the hat if you enjoyed their show please show your support for them as well.
-Admission is $18 per adult and kids ages 4-11 are $10
