It’s a true Freida McFadden book, which means it follows a similar formula to her other stories.

With that being said, I still enjoy them usually. Just something about the characters and the situations that draw you in. Oh, and the twists, even if they can be a little ridiculous.

Anyway, I read this one in a day, which doesn’t happen often, but I couldn’t wait to find out how it all ended.

4 thumbs up because the story was interesting, different and told through alternating POV’s and timelines that led to a true who done it mystery.

Plus, the unexpected (but not totally out there from left field) twists and turns kept me guessing until the end.

I only feel some parts, especially the end, were a little rushed.

Would definitely read more from Mary Kubica.
