I have recently discovered I love to draw coloring book pages! I have been an advanced Photoshop user for almost 30 years. I also have used InDesign extensively to layout newsletters and design posters. My mother, Rosa Lee, was a Chinese brush painter full-time. Growing up, she would spend all day puttering in her studio producing phenomenal work. She and her students would exhibit every year, and
I would be involved in all aspects of getting the artwork ready… I realize that her creative imprint has shown up in my life more and more over time. When I am not working on artwork, I am a full-time acupuncturist (see my acupuncture website here). I have also been teaching taichi and meditation for over 20 years. I have also travelled extensively in my lifetime, having grown up in Kenya. My father worked for the UN at the time, so we travelled on home leave every two years to China. After graduating from the International School of Kenya, I attended Yale University where I majored in Biology. After a couple of years of cell biology research, I found my calling in Chinese medicine, studying at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. That’s the nutshell version! Contact me if you have a project in mind. I love a challenge, big or small! Divine Wine is a reference to the wine that Saqi pours. Saqi is the " wine-server" or "wine-pourer," the One who continually pours out the wine of divine intoxication to all of mankind. It represents divine inspiration, the source of beauty, music and art. Meher Baba often quoted Persian enlightened poets such as Hafiz and Rumi, who used this imagery extensively.
