Life these days... As I approach my 42nd birthday I am deep in my thoughts ( what's new?) . For those of you who don't know, our kiddos that have always been homeschooled started public charter school this year! It's been a bittersweet transition for all of us. Especially me on days like today where I'm really missing my kiddos. I've had a full week to myself and it's been extremely surreal. I've taken myself on beach walks almost every morning and today I was able to check out my friend Purple Peony Designs | Window Artist | Muralist | NMB, SC amazing artwork! Isn't gorgeous?!
I am beyond proud and happy for all the change my family is experiencing. Most people fear change, I love it. This big change is a huge growth opportunity not only for my family but for Barbies Little Shop of Art.
Going forward I will be prioritizing weekly work vs weekends. I will always do my best to accommodate but I'm finally in a season of life where I can pick and choose what I take on vs feeling remorse over not taking everything coming my way. I am beyond greatful for everyone that has helped me get this far, we wouldn't be here without YOU!!! Especially my husband Brandon A Brooks, this business would not exist without him! He not only financially supported my start up but he helps with everything behind the scenes! When I want to give up, he is always my biggest cheerleader. I'm one lucky lady.
