70 of our 6th Grade Choir students braved the wind and ventured to Michigan's Adventure today!🎡🎢☀️

We had a blast conquering the coasters & water park! Whether it was Lawton vs. Students with Bumper Cars, getting pooped on by a bird (if you know, you know...), or impending thunderstorms that never actually occur, it’s safe to say this trip was a win!😎

Special shoutout to our parent chaperones, also known as true ride warriors, for being integral to the success of this event. We are so grateful to have had this opportunity to once again demonstrate the Rocket Way from the tip of Shivering Timbers to the bottom of the Frog Hopper. GO CHOIR! 🎶🎶🎶

Please join us in congratulating Taylor Schleh on being named the recipient of the 2026 MSVMA Choral Music Education College Scholarship!

The Michigan School Vocal Music Association proudly awards one $10,000 scholarship each year to an outstanding high school choral student pursuing a degree in choral music education, and we could not be more excited to see Taylor receive this incredible honor.

Taylor’s dedication, musicianship, leadership, and passion for choral music have made a tremendous impact on our program, and we know they will continue to inspire others as they pursue a future in music education.

Congratulations, Taylor! We are so proud of you and cannot wait to see the difference you will make in the lives of future musicians. 🎶💚

What an incredible few days in Nashville! 🎶✨

We are returning home with full hearts and so much gratitude after an unforgettable choir tour experience. This trip gave our students memories that will stay with them for years to come.

Beyond the music, trips like these remind us of something even more important: the relationships built, the laughter shared, the growth that happens when students step outside of their comfort zones, and the community that forms when we experience something special together.

We embraced our most cheerful and flexible personalities throughout the trip. Travel always brings surprises, changing plans, long days, and unexpected moments. Our students rose to every challenge with positivity and grace, and because of that, they grew tremendously through this experience.

Nashville, thank you for the memories. What an amazing trip, and what an amazing group of students. ❤️🎵
