Unruly Irish Session Join us at Unruly Brewing for a series of trad session on the first and third Tuesday of every month. Don't know the tunes? Questions?

One of the most time-honored musical traditions in Ireland is the "seisiún": an informal gathering of amateur musicians, usually at the local pub, playing traditional Irish folk and dance tunes. Continuing their commitment to enriching the Irish cultural heritage of West Michigan, Unruly Brewing has graciously offered to host a series of trad session on the first and third Tuesday of every month.


-- Musicians of all skill levels are more than welcome. Come and learn!
-- As long as it's 'traditional' and acoustic, the more instrument types the better!
-- Listeners are every bit as welcome as the musicians! Sessions aren't 'concert' types of performances, but the joy of the music is meant to be shared with all!

Lots of crazy-positive musical energy at the Unruly Irish Session tonight!

There once was a hugely popular session in downtown Muskegon in the pre-Covid days, but since that session has permantly folded forever, our friends at Unruly Brewing have really stepped up to fill that gap! (Not to mention including the free beer aspect -- if you've not experienced this session yet, you're really missing out)

Major props to the owners and waitstaff at Unruly! Thank you for being our new home on the lakeshore!
