This Saturday at 2:00, the Pigeon Creek Shakespeare Company presents THE TEMPEST at The Rose, a replica Globe theater at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp.

AWWM members Scott Wright (Ross in Play It Straight, Narrator in Velveteen Rabbit) and Adam Bell (John in Book of Will, director of Macbeth, director & Beacher in Play It Straight) appear as well as AWWM guest artists Katherine Mayberry and Scott Lange (Lady and Lord Macbeth) are part of the cast.

The Pigeon Creek Shakespeare Company brings Shakespeare’s The Tempest to the Rose. The Tempest follows powerful wizard Prospero and his daughter Miranda, who have been stranded on a deserted island for 12 years. When Prospero uses his magic to create a storm, a shipwreck brings his former enemies to the island, along with a possible romantic interest for Miranda. By turns dazzling, humorous, and poignant, The Tempest will be an enchanting afternoon in Blue Lake’s beautiful Rose Theatre with proceeds going directly to Blue Lake Public Radio.

We asked our Playhouse Creatures cast to take selfies that their characters would post. Katherine Mayberry plays Mrs. Betterton, who is the first woman on record to play Shakespeare's Lady Macbeth.
