We had a great time hosting the Midwest Carpet Off-Road Series this weekend! We hope you all had a great time, too! A big thank you to Brett and Eric for all they do to put this series together and bringing it out to Iowa this year. Also, a big shoutout to Kevin from PDX RC Raceway and Hobbies for coming out to race with us and sharing some kind words about Star Collectibles Hobby Center and Island Speedway Off-road.

Congratulations to our class TQs and podium finishers!

And, as always, events like this aren’t possible without awesome sponsors like the ones in the comments below 👇

What they 👇 said. See you all tomorrow!

The 1up Racing Midwest Carpet Off-Road Series is almost here! We’re excited to see everyone and get some cars on track!

Doors will open at 9am on Friday with practice starting at 10am. Please pay for practice before heading to the pits/track. We’ll leave practice open until we have enough racers to start controlled practice. We ask that all racers marshal after they practice.

Please make sure you review the rules pinned to the top of our page. The majority of our rules are intended to protect our carpet from unnecessary snags and tears.

If you need any help, please stop by the counter of the hobby shop, or find Jamie Thompson, Tom Knapper, or Stephen Shuey and we’ll be happy to help you out.

Safe travels and see you all soon!
