I’m a girls’ girl, so anytime I have the opportunity to support a woman-owned local small business, I’m 100% in.
When it came time to create the logo for The Maynard, I knew I wanted something that felt historic, meaningful, timeless, sleek, and classy. Mabel at Ivy Design Studio took my vision and brought it to life even better than I could have imagined.
Not only is she incredibly talented, but she was also so easy to work with. I’m beyond grateful for her creativity and can’t wait to collaborate with her on future projects for The Maynard. If you’re looking for beautiful branding that truly tells your story, she’s your girl.
P.S. A few people have asked why the bridge is part of The Maynard logo.
There are a couple of reasons that made it the perfect fit. First, the bridge is one of the first things you see when you look out the windows of my space. It overlooks the river and serves as a beautiful reminder of the history, connection, and sense of community that make our little city so special.
The second reason is even more personal. My dad—who is the inspiration behind the name. He has driven across that bridge nearly every day, often twice a day, traveling from our home in Illinois to work. That bridge represents his unwavering work ethic, the sacrifices he made, and the love and dedication he has always shown our family. Including it in the logo was my way of honoring him and the example he set for me growing up.
Sometimes a logo is more than just a design..it tells a story. And this one tells mine. ❤️
Thank you, Mabel, for creating a logo that perfectly captures the heart of The Maynard. You absolutely nailed it. 🤍
