Weird Ass Dinner 😂

Listen… I know this dinner sounds a little fu***ng questionable, but hear me out. 😂

Tonight’s menu is ✨️Interesting Ass Meatballs™✨️

— meatballs slow-cooked in grape jelly and chili sauce, with red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, black pepper, and a little sea salt to fight back against the sweetness.

And because apparently I have no concept of moderation, we’re serving them with garlic & herb mashed potatoes, winter mix veggies, AND garlic bread. 😂

Is it weird? Absolutely.
Does it sound like it shouldn’t work? Probably.
Am I still ridiculously excited to eat it? F**K YEAH.

If this turns out amazing, I’m calling it a culinary masterpiece.

Just wanted to post this incase anyone else happens to come across them!! This person messaged me earlier requesting an order for 2 dozen cookies. I gave them my cash app tag and then received an email saying the payment which they DID NOT SEND‼️ was on hold and then they asked me to call the number in the email which im assuming was to try and get the rest of my information and to (Let them know how that goes). It was very obviously a SCAMMER‼️ after reviewing their profile. I immediately reported them and blocked them, and luckily didn't give them anymore information other than my email. Please be diligent when selling your goods and services online, people will literally try to get one over on you if they can, im just glad I recognized it when I did!!

✨ The witching hour called... and apparently so did my sourdough. 🌙

Woke up at 3 a.m. and, despite every attempt, sleep refused to find me again. So instead of counting sheep, I answered the call of the kitchen. Loaves shaped, tucked into their cold proof, and the house filled with that quiet little magic only the earliest hours can bring.

Now I'm curled up in the living room with a murder documentary keeping me company while my poor sick husband sleeps peacefully in our room. I'm doing my best to stay quiet and let him get the rest he needs... though I have a feeling he's sawing logs loud enough that I could probably vacuum and he'd never know. 😂🖤

Not every spell is cast with candles and crystals... sometimes it's flour-dusted hands, a Dutch oven waiting patiently, and true crime keeping you company while the rest of the world sleeps.

Blessed be the bakers who thrive in the witching hour. 🌿🍞✨

🖤✨ A message from the Bread Witch's Kitchen... ✨🖤

To all of my lovely coven members who have placed bread orders, I owe you a little apology.

The bread magic has been delayed because my muggle job has demanded nearly every ounce of my energy these last couple of weeks. Summer has us absolutely SWAMPED, and I've been pulling 10-hour days. 😮‍💨 My cauldron has been a little quieter than usual, but I promise it hasn't been forgotten.

Today, however, the stars have aligned! I'll be awakening my sourdough starter, mixing up fresh doughs, and letting the magic work its slow, delicious spell. Loaves will be baked Wednesday afternoon and sent off on Thursday before my husband, children and I disappear on a much-needed weekend escape to Michigan.

Thank you for your patience, your kindness, and for supporting this little witch's dream. Every loaf is handcrafted with love, a pinch of chaos, and just the right amount of kitchen magic. I can't wait to send these enchanted loaves home to you. 🖤🍞🌙

🖤✨ A little milestone for this spooky little bakery... ✨🖤

Today I will be picking up the very first official business cards for ✨️🥖Shandough's Sourdoughs🥖✨ ️ and I can't stop smiling.

What started as flour, water, a sourdough starter named Mabel, and a dream has slowly been turning into something real. Every loaf I've baked, every order you've placed, every like, share, comment, and word of encouragement has helped me get to this moment.

It may just be a stack of business cards to some, but to me, they're a reminder that this little witch's dream is growing one loaf at a time. 🍞🌙

Thank you for believing in me and supporting my journey. Here's to many more fresh loaves, magical bakes, and exciting milestones ahead.
