Happy Dog Audio will be there!
The Southern Illinois Irish Festival will be hosting its event this year on Saturday, April 30th in Turley Park from 10 am to 6 pm.
The festival will feature a full music lineup, arts and crafts, as well as a variety of food vendors on site.
Programming includes:
Keepin’ It Real with Kevin Buckley and Ian Walsh an Irish traditional and American string duo from St. Louis, Missouri who blend their Irish music upbringing with more regional influences including Bluegrass and Old-Time. Their music will feature a combination of fiddle, mandolin, guitars and bouzouki.
Roisin Dubh Band with Les Lannom and Holly Kee- a Southern Illinois-based Irish music duo performing traditional Celtic & Scottish folk music in its own distinctive style featuring the Great Highland Pipes, Ceilidh bagpipes, guitar, whistle, harmonica, vocals, and keyboard to perform standard folk songs, dance tunes and more.
Na Skylark with Lorinda Jones, Cathy Wilde, Jason Bailey and Jannell Canerday a Central-Kentucky-based trio that shares the rich beauty of ancient traditional Celtic music through voice, Irish harp, uilleann pipes, fiddle, flutes, the Appalachian mountain dulcimer, and more.
Brianna Brown Band with Brianna Brown, John Bolduan, Tim Yau, Lisa Gilbert, and Matthew Brown a traditional Irish music project from St. Louis, featuring Brianna Brown (concertina, harp, whistle, mouth organ), John Bolduan (guitar, banjo), Tim Yau (fiddle, guitar), Lisa Gilbert (flute), and Matthew Brown (bodhran)
