Imminent Liquidation

Imminent Liquidation Beatnik thrash from Carbondale, Illinois. Last official gig was September 11, 2011 at the fabulous PK's in Carbondale. The members have moved on to other things.

Imminent Liquidation was/is a Carbondale, Illinois band formed and debuting in early 2011 with Pat Jones and Fred Howard. Justin Lechy and Kyle Deveau were also members. The name “Imminent Liquidation” sprang from a lyric from a Judas Priest song called “Genocide.” In fact, the band first became noted as an acoustic Judas Priest cover band. Imminent Liquidation can be described as "beatnik metal.

" Instead of the traditional metal template of vocals, guitars, bass and drums, it includes acoustic and electric guitar, bass, and vocals along with drums, mini-bongos, djembes, noisemakers, percussion instruments and assorted noise. The band is currently inactive. We'd like to give a shout out to all of the Carbondale bands and various jams we've had the pleasure of sharing the stage with. Neighborhood Flavor
