Manzanita Arts Emporium hosts an Artist Peeps Show & reception at Angels Night Out, August 17, with an unveiling of provocative, tasteful pieces of hot art at 6 pm. Each Manzanita artist will have a veiled piece of art on the wall that people can take a peep at throughout the week before the event. The public can also view provocative and humorous artistic mini-scenes and dioramas built for the occasion and have a chuckle at artist’s whimsy, with wild and hilarious selfie and photo opportunities to share with everyone.
Since it's a fundraiser for the nonprofit, Manzanita will ask for a donation of a buck a peep all week to support the arts in Angels Camp, with a drawing entry included for a romantic basket of goodies, and gift certificates offerings for several winners.
At the Big Reveal at 6 pm Saturday the 17th, artists will unveil and expose their artwork beneath the drape. Complimentary wine tastes and nibbles will be offered at the reception.
Plus, there is a dollhouse diorama of provocative rooms to explore with selfies and photo shoots for Facebook and Instagram fun!
Open to the public - it's a free Manzanita event on August 17 corresponding with Angels Night Out, an exciting new venue for Angels Camp.
Manzanita Artists and Authors will be on hand to chat up and share a glass of something with us - it will be a festive Angels Night out with free events like music, art demos, games, events, shopping until nighttime, including the Artist Peeps Show. Song Posse musicians will be entertaining the public, along with other musical venues. Participating stores and locations will stay open until at least 8, ushering in a fantastic evening of fun night life, a new tradition getting its start right in historic downtown Angels Camp.
