About Me

Sewing ju**ie, avid thrift store enthusiast, and follower of Christ -- I’m addicted to all things artsy and crafty. I like to use mediums of fiber, wood, metal, watercolor and acrylics. I was born and raised in Gainesville Florida and attended college at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC majoring in Marketing and Management. I now live in the beautiful mountains of Western NC.. My love of the NC Mountains is featured in my artwork of snowmen, birds, scripture, and landscapes. Along with my artwork, I am an avid sewer and love using mixed media of material and fibers and re-purposing clothing, jeans and fabric given to me to create eye-catching one of a kind hand sewn items.

After 8 years of traveling to juried festivals in NC, TN, GA and FL, I am fulfilling a lifelong dream of opening a store in Murphy NC.

Trudy’s Creations will open April 2019.
