Did I start yet another tree when I have 37 others waiting for me to finish mounting, including the silver and green giant? Yes. Am I procrastinating? Also yes. 😂 I definitely enjoy making the trees more than the adhesive process but without it they wouldn’t be the unique sculptures that they are. 🥰

So I’ll get to them… eventually. 🤭 I better hurry though, I have some exciting shows coming up soon! 🤩 Here are also a few that I have managed to finished mounting, 4 more wire bonsai sculptures can never be exactly duplicated.

“Beyond the Horizon” is complete! No, I didn’t shrink myself, this is the actual size of the tree 😂 My original purpose was 1/3 a mile of wire (1,760 feet)… but I didn’t cut enough leaf wire so it ended up being 2,050 feet! I also suffered from analysis paralysis trying to design this tree so I took a risk and didn’t plan it out at all, I just started twisting and this is the result! I’m super excited to have it finished just in time for the upcoming May 1-3 Art festival at Centennial Park in Nashville. Why did I name it “Beyond the Horizon”? It signifies hidden possibilities, unknowns, or opportunities waiting to be discovered. Looking into the future pursuing dreams. Did I know when I started twisting wire I’d ever be able to make it as an artist? No, but when you look “Beyond the Horizon” and pursue something you love, well, you just never know what lies ahead. 🌳🥰❤️
