Some goodbyes are bittersweet. 🎓

Yesterday, we celebrated one of our own as she prepares to begin an incredible new chapter at Howard University. We’ve had the privilege of watching Gabby grow into a beautiful, intelligent, and kind young woman, and we couldn’t be more proud.

We surprised her with a card from our team, cupcakes, and a little college shopping gift. While we’ll miss seeing her in the studio each week, we know she’s going to shine wherever God leads her.

Thank you, Gabby, for the joy, leadership, and positivity you’ve brought to the 4.0 family. You will always have a special place in our hearts.

Your daughter is on a break. Our team is in training.

While performances wrap up and summer schedules slow down, the we are doing exactly what we ask our girls to do. We are showing up, doing the work, and getting better. This summer, we're participating in studio and teacher trainings because running a studio that genuinely serves girls like yours requires us to keep learning.

Fall registration opens soon, and your daughter is walking into a room with a team that spent their summer investing in her experience before she even walked through the door. That's the standard we hold ourselves to.

Homework first. Always. That is a 4.0 non-negotiable.

When we built the Smart Girls Hub into our fall schedule, it wasn't because we wanted to do more. It was because we know our girls. A dancer who feels confident in the classroom carries that same confidence onto the floor. The two are connected, and we've always believed both matter here.

So here's how it works: girls come in, get settled, do homework with a certified teacher and admin support, and then go straight to the dance floor. That's the rhythm...school first, studio second. It gives parents one less thing to worry about and gives girls a routine that actually supports them during a busy week.

She's been asking all summer, hasn't she?

Maybe she saw something on your phone and said, "Mama, I want to do that." Maybe she does little routines in the living room when she thinks nobody's watching. Maybe she gets quiet and wide-eyed every time you drive past a dance studio. Whatever it looks like at your house, you know the look.

Summer Session II starts July 14th and runs through July 28th, and we made this three-week session specifically for the girl who's been on the edge of yes all summer. Three weeks is enough time to learn something real, make a friend, and figure out if this is her thing.

New students are absolutely welcome, and so are returning students who need to get back in the room before fall.

Blooming isn't about being the best or performing for others. It's about the quiet, everyday growth that happens before anyone is watching.

This season, we're helping girls build confidence, discover what they're capable of, and fall in love with learning. Because what they gain here goes far beyond choreography.

✨A night to remember! 4.0 Movement Studios brought the magic of the Tennessee Festival to life at the Discovery Center, creating an end-of-year experience that was unique, exciting, and fun for the entire family. From incredible performances to unforgettable memories, our dancers shined bright and celebrated a season of hard work, growth, and joy. 🩵🩷💚
