On Saturday, June 13 at 7:00 PM, musicians from the Middle Tennessee Sinfonietta will present 'American Reflections', a chamber music concert celebrating the rich musical heritage of the United States. Featuring works by iconic American composers including John Philip Sousa, George M. Cohan, and more, this special performance highlights the sounds, stories, and spirit of America through music.

Admission is free and open to the public. We look forward to seeing you there!

As we close out the 5th season of the Middle Tennessee Sinfonietta, we are celebrating five years with our wonderful musicians, supportive audiences, and welcoming community that made this all possible. Middle Tennessee Sinfonietta will present its next free community concert on Sunday, March 15, at 3 p.m. in Hinton Hall at the MTSU School of Music (1439 Faulkinberry Dr. in ). The program features Beethoven’s legendary Symphony No. 5 alongside performances by the three winners of the 2026 Concerto Competition, Mov. I of Concerto No. 2 for piano and orchestra by Camille Saint-Saëns, Mov. I of Sinfonia Concertante for cello and orchestra by Sergei Prokofiev, and Ballade for saxophone and orchestra by Henri Tomasi. Admission is and open to the public. We’re excited to collaborate with MTSU's James E. Walker Library (MTSU) for our upcoming concert, Middle Tennessee Sinfonietta: Beethoven! 🎼📚

The Walker Library will enhance our concert experience by providing special listening guides to Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony for audience members to follow alongside the music. They will also offer a brief discussion on the symphony so that you can learn more about the composer, the piece, and the history behind one of the most iconic symphonies ever written! 🎶

Already know Beethoven’s Fifth? Dive even deeper into the music and follow along with a miniature score on loan by the James E. Walker Library!
