It's Musician Mondays, when we feature one regular member of your professional orchestra.

Alexander Love is an Australian horn player currently living and working in Chicago. Born and raised in Sydney, Alex studied at the Sydney Conservatorium and the Manhattan School of Music. Relished his time in New York performing in a wide array of settings, he moved to Miami Beach in 2012 to join The New World Symphony under the direction of Michael Tilson Thomas. He also spent time as the Acting Associate Principal Horn of the Utah Symphony, and as Guest Principal Horn with the Australian Chamber Orchestra and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the DePaul University School of Music and is a member of the Northwest Indiana Symphony.

Alex is performing at our June 11 Annual Benefit, "Sound the Horn!", as part of the North Branch Horn Quartet. You could also sponsor his Chair or the whole Horn Section - call (847) 272-0755 for more details about chair sponsorships.
