Today is Aug 17 🎵🎵 —-This is an Announcement of this week’s CANCELLATION NEWS from America’s Hometown Band:

The Live August 20, 2026 AHB
CONCERT BAND program scheduled to take place in Muncie’s Westside Park on Thursday evening this week is now canceled — due to the immense floodwater damages on that site.

But AHB does have two more -Free- summer concert events coming up in September:

AHB accompanies the
‘Field of Flags’ Closing Ceremony, outdoors at Minnetrista Gardens, 1200 N Minnetrista Pkwy, Muncie

July 30, 2026 🎵 America’s Hometown Band of Muncie went ‘On the Road’ to neighboring Albany, Indiana —— where it filled the town’s amphitheater in Wildcat Park —— and delivered a musical variety program to an enthusiastic local crowd! Thank You to the Albany Free Live Summer Concert Series for the invitation !

America’s Hometown Band is “On the Road”
The AHB Concert Band of Muncie travels to the neighboring town of Albany, Indiana — to perform - Live - as part of the 2026 Albany Free Concert Series.
This July 30 event at 7:00 pm, is staged in the outdoor Amphitheater in Wildcat Park - 915 W Walnut St, Albany.
Bring the family, lawn chairs or blanket, snack cooler, and enjoy the big sound of America’s Hometown Band - the Community & Municipal Band of Muncie, IN since 1988.
This Concert is FREE and
open to the public … plus Free parking at the nearby Albany Elementary School lot.
