1st things 1st CONGRATULATIONS TO NEXT YEARS COUNCIL!

Secondly, performance showcase is this Tuesday at 7 it is free and all are welcome!
Finally the banquet is on Friday at 6 at the banquet we will give out awards, induct thespians and more please sign up out side the drama room!

Hi, everyone!!!
You probably thought you'd seen the last of this page in 2014...
Surprise!

We have three days until school starts again... meaning Dramafest is just around the corner! Dramafest is a long-running Kamiak tradition— a series of one act plays that runs from the beginning of the school year until performances at the end of October!

Dramafest is the perfect opportunity to become accustomed to drama here at Kamiak, and the best part is that no previous experience is necessary!

The big dates for this year are as follows:
• Tuesday, September 13: Open Auditions
• Wednesday, September 14: Callbacks
• Thursday, September 15: Production Meeting & Read-Throughs
• Monday, September 19: Rehearsals begin!!!
• Mon-Fri, October 24-28: Afternoon Performances
• Saturday, October 29: MARATHON & Awards

Come join us in the Drama Room NEXT TUESDAY. :) Bring your friends!

Now that Dramafest is over, what are you going to do? Well you can continue your involvement in the P.A.C. by joining Improv Team! How do you join? Simply show up to Rehearsals!

Tomorrow is the 1st Improv Team Rehearsal of the year, So if you want to see what Improv Team is all about, Come tomorrow after school! Practice is from 2:15 until 4:45 and is sure to be on big laugh!

Well Dramafest is over and what a Dramafest it was! All 9 Shows have been uploaded onto youtube and can be watched. Simply Goto Sam Freeman's youtube and find the show you want to watch. You will also find various Kamiak performances such as Choir Concerts, Orchestra Concerts, and Past Dramafest shows.

Did you miss a show this week or want to see a show again? Well come see Dramafest TOMORROW! Tomorrow is the LAST DAY OF DRAMAFEST 2013! ALL SHOWS WILL BE PLAYING TOMORROW! WOO!
So Come one, come all! It's going to be terrific show!
All 9 Shows are going to perform starting from 1 PM.

To start us out we have "Heaven Isn't Here"* Written and Directed by Jacqueline Tardanico, Then "Frontflip" Directed by Tanner McLam; "King of Bro's" Written and Directed by Joe Shay; "The Nightman Cometh"* Directed and Adapted by Drake Slansky; "When the clues align" Written and Directed by Molly Daybert; "Rewind" Written and Directed by Jaimee Alonso; "Past that, The Moon, and My Mom" Written and Directed by Rayla Freeman and Jessica Niewohner; "Emotional Baggage" Written by Lindsay Price, Directed by Christobal Urquiaga and Gina Bartelli; and to close Dramafest 2013, "10 Minutes till Takeoff" Written and Directed by the Directors.

Please come see the last performance of these shows on the Kamiak stage tomorrow. Tickets are $5 for Students/Seniors and $10 for Adults. Come see a great show and see what 72 students have put all their hard work into! * denotes that it is not suitable for younger audiences because of subject material.

Also be sure to come back at 7 PM for the award ceremony and find out what the spring Musical will be this year!

All Dramafest shows have opened and Dramafest 2013 is on a roll!
Come See the second show for some dramafest shows tomorrow!

Tomorrow we start out with "Emotional Baggage", Written by Lindsday Price and Directed by Christobal Urquiaga and Gina Bartelli. Then "King of Bro's", Written and Directed by Joe Shay "Past That, the Moon, and my Mom"*, written and Directed by Rayla Freeman and Jessica Niewohner, "Heaven isn't Here"*, Written and Directed by Jacqueline Tardanico and to close we have "The Nightman Cometh"*, Directed and Adapted by Drake Slansky

Tomorrow is an important day for all shows and it would be great to have a great audience to help support these shows. Come and See some great comedies and great Drama's (And even a Silent show!) tomorrow at 2:30. * Denotes that it is not recommended for younger audiences due to mature content. Bring a friend and watch some great shows perform!

Tomorrow we have 3 Great Dramas performing. At 2:30, we start Dramafest with Rewind Written and Directed by Jaimee Alonso. Then Emotional Baggage Written by Lindsey Price and Directed by Christobal Urquiaga & Gina Bartelli. and to end tomorrow, Past That, The Moon, and My Mother* Written and Directed by Rayla Freeman will perform.

Come see day 2 of Dramafest for only $1 in the P.A.C. After school! The * denotes that the show is Rated PG-13 and is not suggested for younger audiences. King of Bro's, Written and Directed by Joe Shay and after that is Heaven isn't Here*, Written and Directed by Jacqueline Tardanico.

As we near school starting up again, the Drama department begins to become active!

On September 9th and 10th, Dramafest Auditions will be held in the P.A.C. with Call Backs on the 11th and the Cast List being posted on the 12th.

No Experience is needed and all you have to do is read a monologue. Spread the word and Bring a friend to try something new to start out the new school year!
