✨ She Walked Into Miss England Without Any Makeup — And Made History.

Melisa Raouf used to spend hours doing her makeup before leaving the house because she didn't feel confident showing her natural face.

Then, at just 20 years old, she decided to do something completely different.

She entered the Miss London 2022 competition without makeup and won the Bare Face Top Model round.

That gave her the confidence to take it even further.

At the Miss England semi-finals, Raouf walked onto the stage completely makeup-free, becoming the first contestant in the pageant's 94-year history to compete without makeup throughout the competition.

And she wasn't eliminated.

She made the Top 16 finalists out of 40 contestants.

Raouf said the experience helped her realize she didn't need makeup or filters to feel beautiful, and she wanted other young women to feel comfortable being themselves too.

Her message eventually inspired a new makeup-free pageant, with Raouf later returning as a judge.

In a world filled with filters, editing, and pressure to look perfect, she chose something much simpler:

She showed up exactly as she was. ❤️

And that was enough to make history.
