Big and Bold, easy batik. If you're just learning how to use a tjanting tool, the easiest thing to do is go big and bold. Practice a swift move from your molton beeswax to just INSIDE the line that you have drawn using a washable marker. That way you don't leave a Big blob of wax when you initially put your tjanting tool on the fabric. Remember that the washable marker will disappear in the process, so it's just a suggestion as to where to put the wax. Don't stress about staying inside or on the lines you've drawn.
Go have fun, and experiment.
