October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and a great time to remind everyone to make sure you are doing monthly self exams and getting your yearly Mammogram. We have some amazing earrings for sale, made by Leah Mink, that are a great conversation starter. Ladies (and men too) please don’t overlook this important test and if you feel like they weren’t able to get a good enough scan due to density please ask for the Breast MRI. To those that are fighting this fight with me know that you are loved and being prayed for. We got this!

We wanted to post an update about something that’s been going on at Mink Crafts. Unfortunately Rebecca has been diagnosed with breast cancer recently. With upcoming appointments, follow up surgery and recovery there may be some last minute schedule changes at the shop. We will try to post if we will need to be closed for a few hours or for the day. We have some wonderful friends and family helping to fill in so please be patient with us as we navigate this next chapter. Our Thursday evening knit/crochet group and our crafting classes will be on hold at least until the beginning of the year. Our Thursday morning group and 1st Saturday of the month groups will still meet as usual. We appreciate your support and prayers and look forward to seeing you soon. Happy Crafting!

Would you rather have an unlimited amount of yarn, fabric, etc. or unlimited time to do your craft? Also, for those who wanted an update we now have 11 babies! We still have a few more mommas that could kid this year so I’ll keep you posted. This photo doesn’t include them all. It’s really hard to get them all in one shot. Hope you have a wonderful day and Happy Crafting!

The Shop Hop ends at the end of the month so be sure to stop in soon. Pepper also wanted me to let you know that she is in labor today and mad at me for taking photos of her while in labor! Stay tuned and I’ll be sure to post the photos in the comments once they are born.
