In case you missed the Artist Reception two weeks ago, here are a couple photos of the event, artist Shirley Kaye Perkins, and some of her family and fans. Shirley Kaye's work will remain on display through the end of June and are a delight to see. We will even get out the UV black light so you can see them in their full glow effect! Alexi Penko provided harp, piano, and violin music. Buckeye Lake island favorite chef, Catering by Chris, provided finger foods. Photos by Jen Nixon.

Craig and Emma are the first to complete one of my 4 week Beginner Stained Glass classes. Craig made a stunning cardinal and Emma a lovely Lily of the Vally panel. Both are first-timers working with glass, cutting, and soldering and are looking forward to me starting up more advanced classes. I learned that I over estimated the capacity of the room and will be limiting attendance to 6 for a while. I'm glad I only had two sign ups for this, my first session. May/June beginner's class is already full. I will be announcing Summer workshops her in the next several days.
