The pirates are bringing some Caribbean heat this weekend, but worry not friends! We have just the things to keep you cool this weekend!

Across our shady festival grounds, you can find new additions like the Royal Magic Misting Station by the aviary, shade covering at the Joust Arena, and our fun new Swab the Deck game in Pirate, as well as our refreshing Root Brew tonics!

We also have staple help on hot days in our cold and Boba tea at the Royal Tea House, ice cream treats from Los Delicios, and our always playful mermaid splashes!

Also make sure to check in at the RESCU cooling station and find out more about how you can support the amazing people who put on events like this all across the country!

What an incredible day at our first Dragonstone Experiences! Huge thank you to Knights of Mayhem and Pottery by Joanna for being amazing hosts!

Our intrepid adventurers not only kicked butt at the Skill of Arms games, but kick wheel pottery as well! Many more adventures await, from magic lessons, chainmail classes, blacksmithing, soap making, and more, as well as more "regular world"things like how to stand out in performance spaces and small business marketing!

Compete in our ARRRRRF's Pirate of the Year and Chest Holding Competitions! Heave Ho in our Tug of War! Sing along to Sea Shanties and test your skill and luck with Liar's Dice and Swab the Deck!

Arkansas Renaissance Festival has always prided itself on being something to not just see but experience, and this year we take the next step towards that goal! Tomorrow marks our first Dragonstone Experiences!

If you've seen the incredible things at Arkansas Renaissance Festival events and wanted to find out how to learn these skills, look no further! Several of our world class performers and vendors are bringing their skills to you! We have limited seating classes every Wednesday between the hours of 2-6, offering everything from Joust lessons with Knights of Mayhem captain and World Champion jouster Charlie Andrews, Blacksmithing lessons with Forged in Fire contestant Chris Julian, a discussion of breaking into the Renaissance Festival scene with Chaste Treasure owner and Entertainment Director for Arkansas Renaissance Festival Melissa Zadoyko, along with many other opportunities to learn incredible skills and make amazing memories!

A truly magical opening weekend was had at the Arkansas Renaissance Festival last weekend!

Whether our Fantasy stick pony joust and "Spell"ing Bee, or all manner of new and returning excitement and fun, a marvelous time was had by all!
