💨 DAMAGING WINDS most likely in the red shaded area below between 4 PM and 10 PM. Lower chances in the yellow and brown but be weather aware this evening area wide! Could see an organized complex of storms.

MONDAY LOOKS BIG ⚠ Right now the singal is showing what could me a major severe weather and possible tornado outbreak on Monday across and . Intense, well timed jet maxes at 850 and 500mb perfectly run into strong instability and deep moisture as a surface cyclone matures over IA/MN

These are all the ingredients needed for a high impact event. Intense, long track tornadoes, very large hail and damaging winds are all on the table.

Now, this is what we are seeing right now. We have two days of severe weather ahead of this that could alter critical surface features to either enhance or mute things. Expect changes, that is how the forecast process works, but right now, the signal is quite concerning!

MONDAY NEEDS TO BE WATCHED!👀 As the active stretch continues, severe will shift east back into , and surrounding areas, where all modes of significant severe are likely.

Specifics are a little tough to iron out right now, but the expected evolution of the upper air pattern would favor this region. We'll have deep moisture, strong shear and instability in place. All the ingredients will be there, it will just come down to timing the frontal positions and any influences from storms on Sunday, but this could end up being a rather big day!
