Introducing Monroe Ballet Theatre's returning 2022 Sugar Plum, Rianna Pagliaro.

Rianna started her dance training at Reach for the Stars dance studio at the age of 8. Once graduating from The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts in 2017, she trained at Montclair State University’s Dance Division as well as Joffrey Ballet school as a Ballet Trainee. Rianna is currently dancing with Emotions Dance Company, a contemporary dance company based in Maitland, FL.

What Rianna loves most about MBT is coming back home to share the stage with her dance family and her brother Marc!Rianna has been performing with Monroe Ballet Theatre for 5 years and cannot wait to take the stage for another year as Sugar Plum!

Introducing Monroe Ballet Theatre's 2022Snow Queen, Kayleigh Shahin!

Kayleigh is an alumni of Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts. She 21 years old and is the daughter of Vincent and Janine Shahin. Kayleigh has been dancing since she was nine years old. Her favorite styles of dance are ballet and contemporary.
She has been training in ballet with Miss Myriah Harper and Miss Diane Verde. She also has studied dance at West End Academy of Dance.

This is her third year being cast in The Nutcracker with Monroe Ballet Theatre. In past years her roles consisted of Lead Snowflake, Lead Flower, Lead Reed, and Spanish.

The thing that Kayleigh loves most about Monroe Ballet Theatre’s Nutcracker experience is being around teachers, mentors, and other dancer that inspire her to grow not only as a dancer and a performer but as a person.

Introducing our cast!
Heidi Meisenhelder, as Monroe Ballet Theatre's 2022 Dew Drop Fairy! Heidi is daughter of Kristy and Eugene Meisenhelder. She has been dancing for fourteen years and studying ballet for twelve years.
This year is her second year performing in MBT Nutcracker. Some of her roles include Tea, Snow ensemble, Waltz of the Flowers ensemble, Spanish, and this year's Dew Drop Fairy.
Heidi is a sophomore at Palmerton High School and dances competitively at 3d Dance.
Heidi's favorite thing about MBT’s Nutcracker is all of the people that bond together to create this amazing show and being able to throw snow!

Meet our 2022 Clara,Harmony Carroll!
Harmony is 9 years old and began her dance training at 18 months old.
She has been training for 7 1/2 years. Her favorite dance styles are ballet, contemporary and jazz.  This is her 3rd year with MBT and her favorite roles have been Clara, Lead Gingersnap, and Mouse.
She attends cyber school, which gives her more freedom to pursue dance opportunities.  What she loves most about MBT is being a part of a community of amazing dancers and the friendships that are made.

To see Clara take on The Mouse King and travel through the Land of Sweets with her Nutcracker get your tickets today!
