Our salads are made with the same care we put into everything that comes out of the Rancho kitchen — fresh ingredients, housemade flavors and plenty of room to make it your own. Add grilled chicken, sirloin (shrimp at dinner) or enjoy it just as it comes.

There are certain traditions that have found a home here at Rancho Seco. 🧡

After sharing a little of our story yesterday, we’re excited to welcome some new faces and introduce you to a few of the flavors that have become part of who we are — including Chef Brandon’s guajillo cream gravy.

Don’t let the color throw you. 😉 It’s our take on a familiar favorite, with the warm, smoky flavor of guajillo chile woven into the cream gravy.

You’ll find it on our Rancho Chopped Steak — ½ lb. of top sirloin ground in-house, with grilled onions and poblano peppers, garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed green beans.

And if you’re new to Rancho and not quite sure, just ask for it on the side. We won’t mind a bit.

From the vision behind Rancho Seco to the family traditions and authentic flavors that Chef Brandon Rodriguez brings to the kitchen, it was special to have the chance to share the heart behind what we’re building here in Mount Pleasant.

Thomas’s Cut of the Week: Carne Asada 🔥

At Rancho, we believe every part of the cut deserves to be put to good use. Our carne asada is hand-cut, double tenderized, seasoned with The Original Rancho Seco Seasoning, and grilled right here in our kitchen.

And while that asada is on the grill, we’re getting the rest ready — shoestring fries covered in a melted blend of Mexican cheeses, then topped with that freshly grilled carne asada, chipotle crema, pico de gallo, and avocado salsa verde.

It takes a few extra steps, but that’s part of doing things the Rancho way.

Brandon Kruger will be with us from 6–9PM, and our Hatch Chile Shrimp Ranchero and Hatch Chile Mac will be available starting at 5PM (while they last).

And if you haven't tried our warm Dulce de Leche Bread Pudding with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, this might be a good night to finally save room.

There’s a lot of tradition in the things we make every day here at Rancho Seco.

Our Queso Fundido Jalapeño Poppers and Jalapeño-Cheddar Cornbread Muffins are made right here in our kitchen, by the same hands that prepare the meals we serve our community. It takes a little more time and a little more work, but that’s always been part of what good food means to us.

Over time, both have become more than menu items. They’ve become familiar favorites — the kind of food our guests look forward to when they come through our doors.
