Today I had the pleasure of performing for the residents at Crestwood Village Assisted Living as part of their international week! A couple of residents volunteered to learn some moves! Thank you for a wonderful time!

Belly Dance with Deana is now Triskelion Belly Dance to better reflect our growth as a performance troupe.

Our final tally for Shimmies for Kitties: a benefit dance show for Karma Kat Cafe & Rescue was $852! Thank you again to all of our dancers: 7 Moons Belly Dance, Mary Ann Tolly, Kindred Sisters, Erica Beck, The Habibi Dancers, Brandy Boyle, Janet Neveau, Tabby Williamson, Boadicea Belly Dance, Raqs Mystique Dance Troupe, Denise Kenney, Jackie Nicole, Gemhara Almaz, and my troupe mates Kendra Robins and Annette Pratt! Thank you to all of our bake sale and silent auction donors and to our vendors and buyers! And thank you to our wonderful audience members! We couldn't have done this without all of you! Your support is a huge help to the kitties (and staff!) at Karma Kat Cafe & Rescue! Look for Shimmies for Kitties II next spring!

My heart is full! ❤️ A huge thank you to everyone who turned out for our Shimmies for Kitties event: our dancers, our audience, our bakers, our auction item donors, our vendors, our helpers! So far, we raised $773 for Karma Kat Cafe & Rescue!

Another huge thank you to my troupe, my sister, and those who came early and/or stayed late to help with setting up and cleaning out! I couldn't do this without all of you!

I'm keeping donations open for another week (primarily because there's another check pledged but not received yet), so if anyone not able to make it to the show (or anyone else!) wants to add to our total, info is below:
